ELA coach, author, and professional developer, Megan Faux, has been an outstanding educator for 20 plus years. She taught second grade four years, after which she was quickly spotted as one of the best and brightest; therefore, called upon to serve in the capacity of an Instructional Coach. Her innovations, combined with her drive to serve and solve problems, led her school to success. Under her watch as coach, Bennett-Kew School became a California Distinguished School. Dignitaries like, Past President, George W. Bush, visited the school. Faux spent thirteen years coaching which gave her an abundance of skills, particularly in professional development creation and deliverance. She also served as a Certified AB466 Trainer for the Sacramento County Office of Education for eight years, where she trained teachers statewide. Currently she continues her work coaching where, she spends her time making educators aware of solutions to problems that needlessly exist. Faux, is a graduate of UC Berkeley.
