2019 Every Child Counts Symposium

In an age where both inequity and inequality is the norm, summative testing certainly follows suit. Conquering instructional challenges is no easy feat with digital testing as the primary determinant of academic success. Not only are students up against the usual challenges in education, but they must also deal with the technological aspects that too hinder success. In this workshop, participants discover instructional practices that may or may not ensure testing success, but without them it will ensure testing failure. This session should particularity benefit teachers, principals, and district leaders as they explore key instructional practices and scaffolds necessary to level the playing field in the digital testing environment. This workshop will allow leaders to walk away with thorough knowledge of non-negotiable practices that must happen in the classroom, beginning day one.
