This presentation will provide information about how Redlands USD has approached the unique needs of our foster, homeless, and other “at-risk” youth, and is broken into different sections of focus:
  • Overview of our district’s LCAP philosophy, focusing on these two particular programs that we have created;
  • Specifics as to how students are identified;
  • Different roles of the Academic Case Carriers and Elementary Counselors, as compared to site guidance counselors;
  • Data to support the effectiveness of this program over the last three years;
  • Perspectives of an Academic Case Carrier and an Elementary Counselor; and
  • Time for questions that specific district personnel may have.
